Water leaking from the front or sides of the unit

Safety first: Turn off and unplug the unit before tilting or opening it. Water near electrical parts can be hazardous.

• Step 1 – Level the unit:
  • Ensure the air conditioner is level (portable) or slightly tilted outward (window unit) so water flows to the drain.
• Step 2 – Clear drain path:
  • Remove the rear or bottom panel to access the condensate tray and drain outlet.
  • Use a small brush or pipe cleaner to remove debris from the drain hole.
  • Flush with warm water if possible.
• Step 3 – Check drain hose:
  • Inspect the hose for kinks or blockages; clean or replace if necessary.
• Step 4 – Inspect drain pan:
  • Look for cracks or warping in the Condensate Drain Pan; replace if damaged.
