• Step 4 – Inspect piping: Where refrigerant pipes exit the indoor unit, ensure they are not touching the wall or metal edges. Add foam insulation or padding if necessary.
• Step 5 – Test: Restore power and run the fan. If noise persists, the blower wheel or motor may be damaged and require replacement.
