Possible Causes
Full internal condensate tank, Blocked drain hose, Faulty float switch or water level sensor, Unit not leveled correctly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before draining water or moving it.
- Empty the tank: Remove the condensate tank or open the drain plug as per the user manual. Drain water into a suitable container.
- Check float switch: Ensure the float moves freely and is not stuck by dirt or scale. Clean gently if needed.
- Inspect drain hose: If a continuous drain hose is used, ensure it is not kinked or blocked and that it slopes downward.
- Level the unit: Use a spirit level to ensure the unit is roughly level so water flows correctly to the tank or drain.
- Sensor replacement: If P2 persists with an empty tank and free float, the water level sensor or float switch may be faulty and should be replaced.
