Possible Causes
Internal water tank full, Blocked internal drain path, Faulty water level float switch, Unit not leveled correctly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the portable unit before draining.
- Drain the tank: Move the unit to a location where water spillage is acceptable. Open the drain plug at the bottom rear and drain water into a tray.
- Check float switch: Access the internal tank (per user manual) and ensure the float moves freely and is not stuck by dirt.
- Level the unit: Make sure the portable AC is on a flat, level surface.
- Clean internal drain: If accessible, clear any slime or debris from the internal drain channel.
After draining and cleaning, reconnect power and test. Replace the float switch if P2 persists with an empty tank.
