Indoor unit leaks water from the front panel or onto the wall

Safety first: Turn off the unit and place towels or a tray under the indoor unit to catch water.

• Check outdoor drain outlet: Locate the drain hose outlet outside and clear any blockage (mud, insects, algae).
• Use a wet/dry vacuum: Apply suction at the hose outlet to pull out sludge and debris.
• Inspect indoor drain pan: Remove the front cover and filters. Check the pan for standing water and clean it with a mild disinfectant.
• Verify hose slope: Ensure the drain hose runs downward continuously without upward loops or kinks.

If the drain pan is cracked or misaligned, it may need replacement or reseating by a technician.
