How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the unit before tightening any screws.
- Check mounting: Ensure the indoor unit is firmly hooked onto the wall bracket and that all mounting screws are tight.
- Secure panels: Tighten front panel screws and ensure the panel clips are fully engaged.
- Clean blower: Remove filters and clean the blower wheel to remove heavy dust that can cause imbalance.
- Listen for bearing noise: If a grinding or high-pitched squeal persists, the fan motor bearings may be worn and the motor should be replaced.
