TCL portable AC shows P0 and stops cooling

Safety first: Unplug the unit before inspecting the cord or outlet.

• Step 1 – Check outlet: Plug the AC directly into a properly grounded wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
• Step 2 – Test voltage (if qualified): Measure voltage at the outlet; it should match the rating on the nameplate. If low, contact an electrician.
• Step 3 – Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or loose prongs. Replace the cord set if damaged.
• Step 4 – Internal board: If P0 persists with correct voltage, the internal power board may be faulty and should be replaced.

Warning: Do not operate the unit on generators or inverters that provide unstable voltage unless they are rated for sensitive electronics.
