How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit before adjusting hoses or cleaning.

  • Step 1 – Check exhaust hose: Ensure the hose is as short and straight as possible, with no kinks. Do not exceed the maximum length specified by TCL.
  • Step 2 – Improve ventilation: Move the unit at least 30 cm away from walls or furniture. Ensure the exhaust window kit is properly installed and sealed.
  • Step 3 – Clean filters: Remove and clean all air filters according to the manual.
  • Step 4 – Allow cooling: Let the unit rest for 30 minutes, then restart.

Warning: Operating with a blocked exhaust can overheat and damage the compressor.
