Possible Causes
Indoor unit mounting plate not level or loose, Refrigerant pipes under tension, Wall structure resonating, Fan wheel imbalance
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the unit before adjusting mounting hardware.
- Step 1 – Check mounting plate: Remove the front cover and verify that all screws securing the indoor unit to the wall plate are tight.
- Step 2 – Level check: Use a level to ensure the unit is mounted correctly. Adjust if necessary.
- Step 3 – Pipe stress: Ensure refrigerant pipes are not pulling the unit sideways or upward. Gently adjust and secure with clamps.
- Step 4 – Add vibration pads: If the wall is thin or hollow, consider adding rubber pads or shims between the unit and wall to dampen vibration.
Warning: Do not overtighten screws into weak wall material; use proper anchors.
