Possible Causes
Broken louver linkage, Failed louver stepper motor, Obstruction in louver path, Disconnected louver motor harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before manually moving louvers.
- Step 1 – Remove obstruction: Check for objects or heavy dust preventing louver movement and clean as needed.
- Step 2 – Manual movement: Gently move louvers by hand to feel for binding. Do not force if they are jammed.
- Step 3 – Inspect motor and linkage: Remove the front cover to access the louver motor and linkage. Reattach any disconnected arms.
- Step 4 – Replace louver motor: If the motor does not respond in swing mode, replace the louver motor assembly.
