Possible Causes

Failed DC outdoor fan motor, Loose or corroded fan connector, Obstructed fan blades, Faulty outdoor PCB fan driver

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power at the outdoor disconnect.

  • Inspect fan: Check for debris blocking the fan and remove it.
  • Spin test: With power off, spin the fan by hand. It should move freely.
  • Check wiring: Reseat the fan motor connector on the outdoor PCB.
  • Test operation: Restore power and run the unit. If H6 persists and the fan does not run, replace the outdoor DC fan motor. If still unresolved, the outdoor PCB may be faulty.
