How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the outdoor disconnect.
- Inspect fan: Check for debris blocking the fan and remove it.
- Spin test: With power off, spin the fan by hand. It should move freely.
- Check wiring: Reseat the fan motor connector on the outdoor PCB.
- Test operation: Restore power and run the unit. If H6 persists and the fan does not run, replace the outdoor DC fan motor. If still unresolved, the outdoor PCB may be faulty.
