Indoor unit leaks water from the front panel or bottom

Safety first: Turn off the unit and disconnect power before working near water.

• Check unit level: Use a level to ensure the indoor unit is slightly tilted toward the drain side. Adjust mounting if necessary.
• Clear drain line: Use a wet/dry vacuum at the drain outlet to remove clogs. Flush with a mixture of water and a small amount of bleach to kill algae.
• Inspect drain pan and hose: Remove the front cover and check for cracks or disconnected hoses. Reconnect or replace as needed.
• Preventive maintenance: Clean the drain line at the start of each cooling season.
