How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power to the indoor unit.
- Check for obstructions: Remove the front panel and inspect the blower wheel for foreign objects or heavy dust buildup. Clean thoroughly.
- Spin test: Try spinning the blower by hand. If stiff or seized, the motor likely needs replacement.
- Inspect wiring: Reseat the fan motor connector on the indoor PCB.
- If fan still does not run: Replace the indoor DC fan motor. If the new motor does not run, the indoor PCB may be defective and require replacement.
