How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power before manually moving louvers.

  • Check for obstruction: Inspect the swing louvers for foreign objects or misaligned vanes. Gently free any jammed parts.
  • Manual movement: With power off, gently move the louver through its full range. It should move smoothly without binding.
  • Inspect linkage: Remove the front cover and check the plastic gears and link arms between the motor and louvers. Replace broken parts.
  • Replace stepper motor: If the motor does not respond when swing is activated, replace the louver motor assembly.
