Display shows CF after extended operation; unit may continue to run but performance is reduced.

Steps:

• Turn off unit: Switch the air conditioner off.
• Remove filter: Open the front panel and slide out the air filter.
• Clean filter: Vacuum off dust, then wash with mild soap and lukewarm water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely.
• Reinstall filter: Insert the dry filter back into the unit and close the panel.
• Reset reminder: Press and hold the filter reset or timer button as specified in the user manual until CF clears.

Note: Operating with a dirty filter can cause icing, poor cooling, and higher energy use.
