Excessive Condensate Discharge
Excessive water dripping or spraying from the back of a window or through-the-wall unit outdoors.

Possible Causes
Very high humidity, blocked splash ring or slinger fan not distributing water on condenser coil, unit overfilled with water due to blocked weep holes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off and unplug the unit before accessing the outdoor section.
Steps:
- Check weep holes: Inspect the bottom of the outdoor pan for drain/weep holes. Clear any debris so excess water can drain.
- Inspect slinger ring: Many Whirlpool units use a slinger ring on the condenser fan blade to pick up water and throw it onto the coil. Ensure the fan blade is intact and correctly positioned.
- Normal operation: Some dripping outdoors is normal, especially in humid conditions. Only address it if it is excessive or causing damage.
