• Inspect drain pan: Look for cracks or damage in the plastic or metal pan. Small cracks may be temporarily sealed with waterproof epoxy, but replacement is preferred.
• Portable units: Ensure the drain plug is installed correctly or the drain hose is properly connected and not kinked.

Persistent leaks after cleaning and leveling may indicate a damaged drain pan or internal blockage that requires partial disassembly by a technician.
