Safety: Turn off and unplug the unit. Hot surfaces can cause burns.
- Inspect exhaust path: Ensure the window kit opening is not blocked and that louvers move freely.
- Shorten hose: Use the shortest possible exhaust hose length with minimal bends. Do not coil excess hose.
- Check condenser fan: Verify the condenser fan is running strongly when the compressor is on. Replace the condenser fan motor if not.
- Clear surroundings: Keep flammable materials away from the exhaust area.
