Air fryer beeps repeatedly and will not start, even though the basket is inserted.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before adjusting mechanical parts.

• Step 1 – Check for obstructions: Remove the basket and inspect the drawer cavity for food debris or objects blocking full insertion.
• Step 2 – Inspect latch and tab: Examine the basket latch and the plastic tab that actuates the internal switch. If worn or broken, replace the basket assembly.
• Step 3 – Test microswitch: Access the basket presence microswitch and manually press it while the unit is on (use caution). If the beeping stops and the unit is ready, the switch or actuator alignment is the issue.
• Step 4 – Adjust alignment: Slightly adjust the switch position so that the basket tab fully depresses it when closed.
• Step 5 – Replace switch: If the switch is intermittent or physically damaged, replace it.
