How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before opening the housing.
- Step 1 – Confirm basket switch: Ensure the basket is fully inserted. Listen for a faint click from the microswitch when closing the drawer.
- Step 2 – Test switch: Access the basket presence microswitch and test continuity while actuating it. Replace if faulty.
- Step 3 – Inspect wiring harness: Follow the wires from the PCB to the heater and fan. Ensure all connectors are firmly seated and no wires are broken.
- Step 4 – Check relays: During operation, listen for relay clicks. If the timer runs but no relays click, the PCB output stage may be defective.
- Step 5 – Replace components: Replace the basket microswitch if it does not close properly. If wiring and switch are good but outputs never energize, replace the main control PCB.
