How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the air fryer before removing the control panel.
- Step 1 – Inspect control panel: Check for cracks, liquid spills, or signs of impact on the front touch panel.
- Step 2 – Access keypad connector: Remove the screws securing the front control panel. Gently pull it away to expose the ribbon cable connecting it to the main PCB.
- Step 3 – Reseat ribbon cable: Unlock the connector latch (if present), remove the ribbon, inspect for corrosion or damage, then reinsert fully and lock the latch.
- Step 4 – Check for moisture: If the panel was cleaned with excessive liquid, allow it to dry completely for several hours before reassembly.
- Step 5 – Replace components: If E11 persists, replace the touch panel assembly. If a new panel does not resolve the error, the keypad interface on the main control PCB is likely faulty and the PCB must be replaced.
