Possible Causes
Blocked top vents causing PCB overheating, Failed small PCB temperature sensor, Fan not exhausting hot air from control area, Main PCB thermal protection circuit tripping
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and let it cool. Do not cover the top or rear vents during use.
- Step 1 – Improve ventilation: Ensure the air fryer is used on a hard, flat surface with clear space above and behind. Remove any covers or objects placed on top.
- Step 2 – Clean vents: Use a soft brush or vacuum to remove dust and grease from the top and rear vents, especially around the control panel area.
- Step 3 – Check internal fan (if present): Some Ambiano models have a small auxiliary fan near the PCB. Open the housing and verify this fan spins freely and runs during operation.
- Step 4 – Inspect PCB sensor: Look for a small NTC sensor or thermal pad on the PCB. Ensure it is properly attached and not dislodged.
- Step 5 – Replace failing parts: If the auxiliary fan is not working, replace it. If the PCB sensor is damaged or detached, replace the main control PCB or sensor assembly as designed for your model.
