Display shows E7 and the air fryer will not start, often accompanied by no display backlight or dim display.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before opening. Mains voltage is present on the primary side of the control board.

• Step 1 – Check outlet: Test the wall outlet with another appliance to confirm proper voltage. Avoid using long extension cords or power strips.
• Step 2 – Inspect power cord and plug: Look for bent prongs, burn marks, or looseness. Replace the cord set if any damage is found.
• Step 3 – Internal connection check: Remove the bottom or rear cover to access the main control PCB. Verify that the mains input connector is firmly seated and that the strain relief is intact.
• Step 4 – Visual PCB inspection: Look for cracked solder joints at the power input, burnt resistors, or bulging capacitors in the low‑voltage power supply section.
• Step 5 – Component‑level repair (advanced): If you are experienced with electronics, you may test and replace individual components (bridge rectifier, fusible resistor, capacitors). Otherwise, replace the entire main control PCB.
• Step 6 – Reassemble and test: After securing all connections, reassemble the housing and test. If E7 persists with a known good outlet and cord, the main control PCB must be replaced.
