Air fryer shows E8 and does not respond to touch inputs or buttons; display may be frozen.

Safety first: Disconnect from mains before removing the control panel.

Steps to address E8:

• Clean the panel surface: Wipe the control panel with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove grease or residue that may interfere with touch sensing. Dry thoroughly.
• Power reset: Unplug for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect and test. If E8 remains, continue.
• Inspect for cracks or damage: Look closely at the control panel window for cracks or signs of impact. Physical damage usually requires replacement of the touch control PCB or full control module.
• Open the control housing: Remove screws securing the top/control cover. Carefully lift it to expose the touch PCB and ribbon cable.
• Check ribbon cable: Reseat the ribbon cable at both ends. Ensure it is not creased or torn.
• Check for moisture: If there are signs of liquid ingress (corrosion, residue), clean gently with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush, then allow to dry fully.
• Replace touch PCB: If the panel remains unresponsive or E8 persists, replace the Beko touch control PCB or complete control panel assembly as specified for your model.

Warning: Do not use excessive force when removing the control panel to avoid cracking the housing.
