Possible Causes
Dry or worn fan motor bearings, Fan blade rubbing against housing, Misaligned fan bracket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and cool the unit before inspection.
Steps to address squealing:
- Access fan: Remove the outer cover to reach the fan and motor.
- Check blade clearance: Ensure the fan blade is not touching the metal shroud or heater guard. Adjust the blade position if necessary.
- Spin test: Rotate the fan by hand. If it squeals or feels rough, the motor bearings are worn.
- Replace motor: Replace the Beko fan motor. Lubrication is generally not a permanent fix and is not recommended near high heat.
