- Visual check: After cooling, inspect the heater area through the top grill for any foreign metal objects.
- Open housing: Remove the cover and inspect heater terminals and wiring for burn marks or loose connectors.
- Tighten/replace connectors: Firmly crimp or replace any loose spade connectors. Replace the wiring harness if terminals are burnt.
- Inspect PCB: Look for signs of arcing on the main control PCB near the heater relay. Replace the PCB if damaged.
