Bella air fryer exterior gets extremely hot to the touch during use.

Safety first: Some warmth is normal, but if the exterior is too hot to touch, unplug the unit and stop using it until inspected.

Ventilation:

• Ensure the air fryer is placed on a heat‑resistant surface with several inches of clearance on all sides.
• Clear any obstructions from the rear and bottom vents.

Internal inspection:

• Open the housing and verify that the metal heat shields around the cooking chamber are properly installed and not bent away from their mounting points.
• Check for missing or displaced insulation material (if used in your model).
• Confirm that the convection fan is running at normal speed.

Reposition or replace any damaged heat shields. If insulation is missing or badly degraded, it may be more practical to replace the unit, as factory insulation parts for small appliances can be difficult to source.
