Bella air fryer makes a loud rattling or grinding noise during operation.

Safety first: Unplug the air fryer and let it cool. Do not stick objects into the fan while it is running.

Noise localization:

• Run the unit briefly and listen to identify whether the noise comes from the top, back, or bottom.
• Stop the unit, unplug it, and remove the basket to visually inspect the fan area.

Mechanical inspection:

• Access the fan and heater assembly from the top or rear.
• Check that the fan blade is firmly attached to the motor shaft. Tighten or replace the retaining nut or clip if loose.
• Straighten any slightly bent blades that are rubbing the shroud, or replace the fan if badly damaged.
• Remove any loose screws, bits of metal, or food debris from the fan area.
• Tighten all mounting screws for the fan motor, heater bracket, and housing panels to reduce vibration.
