Bella air fryer trips the household circuit breaker or GFCI outlet when turned on.

Safety first: Do not repeatedly reset a breaker that trips immediately; this indicates a potentially dangerous fault. Unplug the air fryer before inspection.

Basic isolation:

• Try a different outlet on a separate circuit to rule out a weak breaker (only if safe to do so).
• If the breaker trips as soon as the air fryer is plugged in, suspect a direct short in the cord or control board.

Internal inspection:

• Open the housing and inspect all wiring for cuts, pinches, or melted insulation, especially where wires pass through metal openings.
• Check the heating element for contact with the metal chassis or loose mounting.
• Look for moisture or corrosion on the control PCB; dry thoroughly if minor moisture is present.

Use a multimeter (if experienced) to check for continuity between the heater terminals and chassis; any continuity indicates a ground fault and the heating element assembly should be replaced. If wiring and heater are good, a shorted component on the control PCB is likely and the board should be replaced.
