Possible Causes
Blown internal line fuse,Faulty power cord,Loose connection at power entry terminal block,Failed main control PCB power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Verify the outlet with another appliance. Unplug the air fryer before opening it. Do not work on live circuits.
Troubleshooting steps:
- 1. Check external power: Confirm the wall outlet has power and that any GFCI or breaker has not tripped. Avoid using power strips or extension cords.
- 2. Inspect the power cord: Look for cuts, fraying, or burn marks. Gently flex the cord near the plug; if power flickers (lights briefly come on), the cord is faulty and should be replaced.
- 3. Access internal power entry: Remove the rear or bottom cover to expose the power cord entry and terminal block. Tighten any loose screws and ensure wires are fully seated.
- 4. Test internal fuse: Locate the in-line line fuse on the live conductor. Use a multimeter to check continuity. If blown, identify and correct any obvious short (burned wiring, damaged element) before replacing the fuse with the exact same rating.
- 5. Inspect main control PCB: If the fuse and cord are good, check the board for burnt components in the power supply section. If damaged, replace the main control PCB.
