Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the Bosch air fryer and allow it to cool for at least 45 minutes before inspection.
Steps:
- 1. Clear airflow: Move the appliance to an open area. Ensure at least 10–15 cm clearance around all sides. Clean all external vents with a brush or vacuum.
- 2. Clean interior: Remove basket and pan. Wipe the interior walls and heater guard with a damp cloth to remove grease that can trap heat. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the heater.
- 3. Reset attempt: After cooling and cleaning, plug in and run at a low temperature setting to see if E07 reoccurs.
- 4. Thermostat inspection (advanced): Remove the cover to access the auto‑reset thermostat / thermal cut‑out mounted on or near the heater plate. Ensure it is firmly screwed or clipped to the metal surface for proper sensing.
- 5. Test thermostat: With the unit cool, check continuity across the thermostat. It should be closed. If it remains open when cool, replace it with a Bosch‑specified part.
Important: If the unit repeatedly overheats, there may be a control board or sensor calibration issue. Continued use without repair can damage internal components.
