Loud rattling or grinding noise during operation, especially when the fan is running.

Safety first: Unplug and cool the unit before opening. Moving parts can cause injury.

• Identify noise source: Run a brief test with the unit empty and listen carefully to locate the area of the noise (top, rear, side).
• Inspect fan assembly: Access the convection fan. Check that the blade is firmly attached to the motor shaft and not wobbling.
• Adjust shroud: If the blade is rubbing on the shroud, gently bend the shroud or reposition the motor to restore clearance.
• Tighten hardware: Check all visible screws, brackets, and panels for looseness and tighten as needed.
• Replace motor if noisy: If the noise is from inside the motor (grinding, squealing), replace the convection fan motor.
