Safety first: Unplug the unit before opening. Do not attempt live testing unless you are qualified.

Check outlet and cord: Test the outlet with another appliance. Inspect the power cord for damage and ensure it is fully seated in the outlet.
Access internal fuse: Remove the cover and locate any line fuse on the main control board or input filter board. Test for continuity and replace with the same rating if blown.
Inspect thermal fuse: Some models place a thermal fuse in the primary circuit. Test and replace if open.
Board inspection: Look for obvious damage on the main control board (burned areas, bulged capacitors). If present, replace the board.

If fuses blow again immediately after replacement, there is likely a short circuit that requires professional diagnosis.

Unit will not power on at all; no lights, no display, no response to buttons.
