Possible Causes
Fan not running, Blocked air vents, Faulty NTC sensor reading too high, Heater relay stuck on
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and allow the unit to cool fully before inspection.
- Ventilation: Confirm that vents are clear and the unit has adequate space around it.
- Fan check: Start a cycle and listen for the fan. If it does not run, inspect the fan motor and wiring as described in fan-related faults.
- Sensor and wiring: Inspect the NTC sensor near the heater for damage or dislodging. Reseat its connector on the control board.
- Control relay: If the heater stays on continuously (no cycling), the heater relay may be stuck closed. Replace the main control PCB.
