Possible Causes

Loose NTC sensor, Sensor not in airflow path, Faulty NTC sensor reading too low, Control board miscalibration

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the fryer before accessing internal components.

  • Reset: Unplug for 10 minutes, then test again. If H2 returns, inspect the sensor.
  • Sensor position: Ensure the NTC sensor is correctly clipped near the airflow path and not dangling away from the heated area.
  • Connector check: Reseat the sensor connector on the control board. Look for corrosion or loose pins.
  • Replace sensor: If the sensor reads abnormally high resistance at room temperature (far above spec) or fluctuates wildly, replace the NTC sensor assembly.
  • Control board: If a new sensor does not resolve H2, the control PCB may be misreading the sensor and should be replaced.
