Possible Causes
Burned-out heating element, Loose heater wiring at terminals, Failed heater relay on main control PCB, Open thermal fuse in heater circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the air fryer and let it cool fully before opening.
- Step 1 – Confirm symptom: Set the Cosori to a high temperature (e.g., 400°F/200°C) for 5 minutes. If the fan runs but no heat is felt at the exhaust, proceed.
- Step 2 – Visual check of element: Remove the basket and look up at the heating coil. Look for breaks, heavy discoloration, or sagging.
- Step 3 – Access heater wiring: Remove the top or rear cover to expose the heating element terminals and wiring. Check for loose or burnt connectors.
- Step 4 – Test continuity: Disconnect the element and measure resistance with a multimeter. Infinite resistance indicates a failed element. Also locate any inline thermal fuse near the element and test for continuity.
- Step 5 – Replace failed parts: Replace the heating element assembly if open or visibly damaged. Replace an open thermal fuse with the exact temperature and current rating.
- Step 6 – Check heater relay: If the element and fuse are good, but no voltage is supplied during a cook cycle, the heater relay on the main control PCB may be faulty. Replace the main control PCB.
