Non-stick coating on basket or crisper plate is peeling or flaking.

Safety first: Do not ingest flaking coating. While many coatings are food-safe, loose flakes are undesirable.

• Step 1 – Stop abrasive cleaning: Only use soft sponges or cloths and non-abrasive cleaners on the basket and crisper plate.
• Step 2 – Avoid metal tools: Use silicone, wooden, or plastic utensils to remove food.
• Step 3 – Replace worn parts: If the coating is significantly peeling or bare metal is exposed, replace the basket and/or crisper plate with genuine Cosori parts.
• Step 4 – Do not operate empty at high heat: Avoid preheating for long periods with an empty basket, which can accelerate coating breakdown.
