Interior light does not turn on, but the unit otherwise works normally (models with interior light).

Safety first: Unplug and allow the unit to cool. Glass parts may be hot.

• Step 1 – Access lamp: Locate the interior light assembly, usually behind a glass or plastic cover inside the cavity.
• Step 2 – Replace bulb (if replaceable): Remove the cover and replace the bulb with the same type and wattage specified by Cuisinart.
• Step 3 – Check socket and wiring: If the bulb is good, inspect the socket and wiring for looseness or damage.
• Step 4 – Control board: If the lamp and wiring are good but never receive power when the light should be on, the light driver on the main control board may have failed. Replace the board if you require the light function.
