How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool. Do not insert tools into the fan area while connected to power.

Steps:

1. Inspect through cavity: Remove the basket and look up at the fan. Check for loose screws, warped blades, or foreign objects.
2. Access fan assembly: Remove the top cover to expose the fan and motor.
3. Check fan nut and screws: Ensure the central nut holding the fan to the motor shaft is tight. Tighten gently; do not overtighten and strip threads.
4. Clean blades: Remove grease and debris from the fan blades to restore balance. Use a mild degreaser and a soft brush, avoiding water on the motor.
5. Test motor bearings: Spin the fan by hand. If it feels rough, wobbly, or has excessive play, the motor bearings are worn and the motor assembly should be replaced.

Air fryer fan is very loud, rattling, or grinding during operation.
