Possible Causes
Blocked ventilation, Failing fan motor, Overheating main PCB, Weak thermal cutoff resetting intermittently
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and allow the unit to cool fully before inspection.
Steps:
- 1. Improve ventilation: Ensure at least 10–15 cm clearance around the fryer and that no objects cover the top or rear vents.
- 2. Clean vents and fan: Remove dust and grease from external vents. Open the top cover and clean the fan and internal air passages.
- 3. Check fan performance: Confirm that the fan runs at full speed during operation. A slow or intermittent fan can cause overheating.
- 4. Inspect PCB location: Ensure the control board is not directly exposed to heater exhaust and that any cooling slots are not blocked.
- 5. Replace failing components: If the thermal cutoff or thermostat is cycling too early, or the fan motor is weak, replace the affected part.
