• 1. Clean basket area: Remove crumbs and debris from the front opening and around the basket guides.
• 2. Listen to switch: Insert and remove the basket slowly, listening for a clear click. If the click is weak or absent, inspect the switch.
• 3. Access switch: Remove the front or side panel to reach the basket detection microswitch.
• 4. Adjust actuator: Gently bend or reposition the actuator so that the basket fully engages and releases the switch.
• 5. Replace switch: If the switch is physically damaged or intermittent, replace it.
