Dash air fryer drawer/basket does not slide in fully or feels stuck; unit will not start.

Safety first: Unplug the air fryer before forcing the drawer. Forcing it can damage the latch or safety switch.

Step 1 – Remove and inspect drawer

• Gently pull the basket and pan assembly out.
• Inspect the sides and bottom for bent metal, dents, or stuck food.
• Clean all contact surfaces with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.

Step 2 – Inspect rails and cavity

• Look inside the air fryer cavity for crumbs or foreign objects on the rails.
• Vacuum or wipe out debris.

Step 3 – Check for warping

• Place the pan on a flat surface to see if it rocks; if so, it may be warped.
• Replace a warped basket or pan; do not attempt to bend it back, as this can damage the nonstick coating.

Step 4 – Test fit

• Reinsert the empty basket and pan; it should slide smoothly and click into place.
• If it still binds, the internal rails or latch may be bent and require professional adjustment or replacement.
