Identify noise source: Run the unit briefly with an empty basket and listen from different sides to locate the noise area. Stop and unplug.
Check basket and accessories: Ensure the basket, crisper plate, and any racks are seated properly and not vibrating against the housing.
Inspect fan: Access the fan and check that the blade is tight on the shaft. Tighten the retaining nut or screw if loose.
Remove debris: Look for screws, food pieces, or plastic parts caught in the fan or near the motor. Remove carefully.
Motor bearings: If the fan is secure and clean but noise persists, the motor bearings may be worn. Replace the convection fan motor assembly.
