How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect from mains before inspection.
Steps:
- Try another outlet: Plug the air fryer into a different outlet on a separate circuit. Avoid extension cords and power strips.
- Check cord and plug: Inspect for cuts, fraying, or burn marks. Gently wiggle the plug in the outlet; if the display flickers, the outlet or plug may be loose.
- Internal cord connection: Remove the rear/bottom cover and verify that the power cord strain relief is secure and the cord wires are firmly attached to the terminal block or PCB.
- Power supply test: If you are experienced with electronics, you can measure the low-voltage outputs from the power supply section on the main PCB (e.g., 5 V, 12 V). Incorrect voltages indicate a failing board that should be replaced.
