Possible Causes
Aged or drifted NTC sensor, Poor sensor placement or contact, Firmware calibration error, Control PCB analog circuit drift
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use caution when measuring temperature; surfaces can be very hot.
Steps:
- Verify with thermometer: Use an oven-safe thermometer placed in the basket to compare actual temperature to the set value.
- Clean sensor area: Grease buildup around the sensor can affect readings. Clean the interior and sensor area gently.
- Sensor replacement: If readings are consistently off by a large margin, replace the NTC temperature sensor with an Electrolux-specified part.
- Control board: If a new sensor does not correct the issue, the control PCB calibration may be off and the board should be replaced.
