• Inspect internal connections: Remove the rear cover and gently tug on the power cord terminals, fuse holders, and board connectors. Tighten or re-seat any loose connections.
• Check thermal cutoff: Test continuity when the unit is cool. If it opens only when hot, it may be weak and tripping prematurely. Replace with the correct temperature-rated cutoff.
• Board solder joints: Inspect the underside of the main control board for dull, cracked, or ringed solder joints at high-current points (heater relay, power input). Reflow solder if skilled, or replace the board.
