Possible Causes
Burned-out light bulb or LED module, Loose light connector, Failed light driver on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the fryer and allow it to cool before accessing the light.
- Access light assembly: On oven-style models, remove the interior light cover (usually held by clips or a screw). On some models, access is from the rear.
- Inspect bulb/module: If it is a replaceable bulb, check for a broken filament or darkened glass. Replace with the correct type and wattage.
- Check wiring: Ensure the light’s connector is firmly attached to the harness or board.
- Test operation: After reassembly, plug in and test the light function. If still dead and wiring is intact, the light driver on the main control board may be faulty.
- Board replacement: Replace the main control board if the light circuit is confirmed dead and the light module is good.
