Interior light does not turn on, but the fryer otherwise works normally.

Safety first: Unplug the fryer and allow it to cool before accessing the light.

• Access light assembly: On oven-style models, remove the interior light cover (usually held by clips or a screw). On some models, access is from the rear.
• Inspect bulb/module: If it is a replaceable bulb, check for a broken filament or darkened glass. Replace with the correct type and wattage.
• Check wiring: Ensure the light’s connector is firmly attached to the harness or board.
• Test operation: After reassembly, plug in and test the light function. If still dead and wiring is intact, the light driver on the main control board may be faulty.
• Board replacement: Replace the main control board if the light circuit is confirmed dead and the light module is good.
