Unit takes much longer than normal to reach temperature or never seems to get fully hot.

Safety first: Unplug and cool the unit before testing.

• Verify supply voltage: Avoid long, thin extension cords. Plug directly into a proper outlet.
• Check heater connections: Inspect heater terminals and wiring for discoloration or looseness. Tighten and replace any burnt connectors.
• Measure heater resistance: Compare measured resistance to the expected value from service documentation. A significantly higher resistance can indicate internal damage.
• Inspect relay contacts: If accessible, check the heater relay on the board for signs of overheating. Replace the main control board if contacts are failing.
