Steps to reduce squealing noise:

Confirm source: Listen near the rear or top vents to confirm the noise is from the fan area.
Access fan assembly: Remove the bottom cover to reach the fan motor and blade.
Check for rubbing: Spin the fan by hand and observe if it contacts the housing. Adjust the blade position or motor mount to provide clearance.
Tighten mounts: Tighten all screws securing the fan motor and heater bracket.
Replace motor: If the squeal persists and the motor feels rough when spun by hand, replace the fan motor assembly.

Note: Lubricating sealed motor bearings is generally not effective; replacement is the long-term solution.
