Replace sensor if drifting: If readings are consistently off by a large margin and cleaning does not help, replace the NTC temperature sensor probe with a compatible Farberware part.
Control board replacement: If a new sensor does not correct the issue, the temperature control circuit on the main PCB may be faulty and require board replacement.
